There are plenty of beautiful places to visit in and around Northumberland, from coastal walks to visiting the ruins of Dunstanburgh castle or seeing where the magic began for Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. The lodges and holiday home come equipped with all the mod cons you would expect including our fabulous sunken hot tubs. Perfect place to relax after a hard day exploring the many attractions and places to visit that Northumberland offers.

We are not far from Alnwick and Morpeth so why not visit the local farmers markets, from pop up food stalls, quirky items, bargain sales, to purchasing some of our best local produce it certainly is worth a visit. It’s best to check out when each market is on and if there are any special events being held.

Close by to Felmoor Park you have the animal park with coffee shop, the main attraction is the Meerkats and feeding the animals popcorn. They also have a play area for the children, so if you are wanting to escape the tranquillity of the park and entertain the little ones than this is the place to visit.

At the gorgeous Heighley Gate Garden Centre, you will find a brand new dinosaur golf attraction. There’s a coffee shop for you to grab something to eat or drink and watch the children have a round of golf. The dinosaurs are animated too! Great for photos.

With quaint fishing ports such as Amble, Alnmouth and Seahouses not far, you will find plenty of places to shop and dine out.
